It is better to remove the older version of ArcGIS before attempting to install ArcGIS 10.8.ġ. However, we have experienced issues with this in the past. If you do not remove older versions of ArcGIS before you begin this installation, it will be done automatically before ArcGIS 10 is installed. Using Add or Remove Programs from Windows Control Panel, remove any older version of ArcGIS AND ArcGIS License Manager. If you are off Grounds, you must use a the UVa VPN ( ) to access the license server.ĪrcGIS 10.x cannot run on a computer that has an older version of ArcGIS installed.
